Jessica Dorff is a Pyrographic Artist living in Eugene, Oregon. After leaving a career making cartoons for Nickelodeon Animation, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest to pursue her own artistic path.
When illustrating & burning a wooden clock depicting the “Grady Girls” from Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining” to hang in her own kitchen, the idea of burning portraits was born.
Soon to follow was the first multi-pieced series, depicting the characters and scenes from the David Lynch Drama Series “Twin Peaks”. The entire collection can be seen at Hicksville Pines Bud & Breakfast in Idyllwild, California, and was lauded by the shows star Kyle MacLachlan.
Her work hangs in private collections across the United States.
